Community Guidelines
Last updated: August 31, 2026
SabKi Sawari connects passengers and drivers for intercity travel between Karachi and Hyderabad. For this community to work well for everyone, all users - passengers and drivers alike - must treat each other with respect, honesty, and consideration. These guidelines define the standards we hold every member of the SabKi Sawari community to.
Violations of these guidelines may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.
1. Respect & Dignity
Every person on our platform deserves to feel safe and respected.
- Treat all users courteously, regardless of gender, age, religion, ethnicity, or background.
- Do not use offensive, discriminatory, threatening, or abusive language - verbally or in written communications through the platform.
- Do not harass, intimidate, or follow other users beyond the requirements of a trip.
- Respect personal space and privacy. Avoid unsolicited personal conversations or questions.
- Drivers must not refuse service to a passenger on the basis of religion, gender, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
2. Safety First
The physical safety of every person on the platform is non-negotiable.
- Drivers must comply with all traffic laws at all times. No speeding, reckless overtaking, or use of mobile phones while driving.
- All passengers must be seated and seatbelts worn (where available) before the vehicle moves.
- Do not travel under the influence of alcohol or drugs, whether as a driver or passenger.
- Drivers must not carry more passengers than the registered vehicle capacity.
- Report any unsafe driving, vehicle condition, or safety concern immediately through the app's SOS or Help & Support feature.
- In case of a genuine emergency, call 1122 (police/rescue) or 115 (ambulance) immediately.
3. Honesty & Integrity
Trust is the foundation of the SabKi Sawari community.
- Do not create fake accounts or impersonate other users or SabKi Sawari staff.
- Do not manipulate the ratings system by submitting false reviews, bribing passengers for ratings, or coordinating fake positive feedback.
- Drivers must not accept payment outside the platform or collect amounts exceeding the fare shown in the app.
- Passengers must not attempt to pay less than the confirmed fare or dispute valid charges in bad faith.
- Do not provide false information during registration (name, CNIC, vehicle documents, license).
4. Timeliness & Reliability
Other people are counting on you to be on time.
- Drivers must depart within the scheduled time window and not delay without informing passengers.
- Passengers must be at the designated pickup point on time. If you are going to be late, contact the driver immediately.
- Drivers must not cancel trips at the last minute without a genuine reason. Repeated cancellations will result in account review.
- Passengers who repeatedly book and cancel waste seat availability for others and may be restricted.
5. Vehicle Standards
Drivers are responsible for maintaining their vehicle to an acceptable standard.
- The vehicle must be clean and odour-free at the start of each trip.
- Air conditioning must be functional and used during appropriate weather conditions, unless agreed otherwise.
- The vehicle must match the registration details and photos submitted during onboarding. Any change of vehicle must be updated in the app.
- Music or other audio should be at a low volume. If any passenger requests silence, comply without complaint.
6. Privacy of Others
Respect the personal information and space of other users.
- Do not record other users (audio, video, or photo) without their explicit consent.
- Do not share another user's personal information - phone number, home address, or travel details - with third parties.
- Contact details visible through the platform (driver or passenger phone numbers) may only be used for direct, trip-related communication.
7. Prohibited Items & Behaviour
The following are strictly prohibited on all SabKi Sawari trips:
- Weapons of any kind, including firearms, bladed objects, or any object capable of causing harm.
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances.
- Alcohol consumption inside the vehicle.
- Smoking (including vaping) inside the vehicle at any time.
- Transporting large or hazardous cargo without prior disclosure and agreement with the driver.
- Animals (except trained service animals), unless agreed in advance with the driver.
8. Children & Family Travel
- Drivers must accommodate families with young children with reasonable patience and consideration.
- Child car seats are the responsibility of the parent or guardian. Drivers are not required to provide them but should not refuse travel to families who bring their own.
- Unaccompanied minors (under 16) are not permitted on SabKi Sawari trips without explicit written consent from a parent or guardian.
9. Ratings & Feedback
Ratings help the community make informed decisions. Use them honestly.
- Leave ratings based on your actual experience, not personal feelings about unrelated matters.
- Do not threaten other users with negative ratings to extract money or favours.
- Written reviews must be factual, respectful, and relevant to the trip. Defamatory, offensive, or false reviews will be removed.
- Drivers whose average rating falls below 3.5 stars will receive a warning and be required to improve within 30 days. Drivers who maintain a rating below 3.0 stars for 60 consecutive days may have their account suspended pending review.
10. Reporting Violations
If you witness or experience a violation of these guidelines, please report it immediately:
- Use the Report a Trip Issue feature in the app (Help & Support).
- Email us at support@sabkisawari.com with a description of the incident, date, trip ID if known, and any supporting evidence.
- For serious safety incidents, contact local emergency services first (1122 or 115), then report to us.
All reports are reviewed by the SabKi Sawari safety team. We treat all reports confidentially and will not reveal the identity of the reporting user to the accused party.
11. Consequences of Violations
Depending on the severity and frequency of a violation, consequences may include:
- Warning: A formal notice sent via the app for minor or first-time violations.
- Temporary suspension: Account access restricted for a defined period.
- Permanent removal: Account permanently banned from the platform with no right of reinstatement.
- Legal referral: For violations involving fraud, violence, or illegal activity, we will cooperate fully with Pakistani law enforcement authorities.
SabKi Sawari reserves the right to take any of the above actions at our sole discretion, without prior notice, where we determine it is necessary to protect users or the integrity of the platform.
12. Changes to These Guidelines
These Community Guidelines may be updated from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
